What to expect from your first massage.
Before your treatment you will be asked to fill out a health history form. Your therapist will discuss goals for the session and do a functional assessment. This will help the therapist determine which areas and techniques would be most beneficial for each individual client. They will let you know which areas will be treated and what clothes should be removed for that treatment. You will only ever be required to dress down to your comfort level!
The therapist will exit the treatment room allowing you privacy to get comfortable on the table and ask permission before re-entering. They will be in constant communication about the treatment and your comfort. When the treatment is concluded the therapist will exit the treatment room and allow you privacy yet again. Afterwards, your therapist will recommend on future treatment and offer home care exercises to help you maximize your health.
