Renee Fogarty – Director of Wonderful
One of the longest standing members of our team, Renee brought her talents to us at our outset in 1994. Her kind manner and wonderful personality has enriched the experience of many of our patients who’ve come to know her. Frankly we’d be lost without her.
She is from the St. Margaret’s Bay area and thoroughly enjoys the lifestyle it has to offer. Since joining our team we’ve seen her grow and she sees, as well, the many miracles that Chiropractic has brought to those who are in need. It truly has been wonderful for all of us.
Renee is a gardener, loving her roses by the ocean as well as collecting antique scales, kayaking, travelling and reading medieval history. Please take time to say ‘hello’ during your next visit; she’ll make you feel wonderful as well.
Tammy Power – Director of Happy
Tammy is no stranger to St Margaret’s Bay Chiropractic…she and her entire family have been patients at the clinic for past ten years so she knows what this is like on both sides of the desk!
She worked at Dalhousie University for 15 years and has also still works from home part time. Her kids kept her busy with Tasa Hockey and Halifax County Soccer for years. Now with them being older, she wanted to get back into the community and enjoys interacting with people as you have probably noticed! The centre was a perfect fit. She’s very excited to be with us and we are excited to have here in this new role since Spring 2017!
Carol Perrin – Director of Smiles
Carol joined us in December 2016 and has brought another caring perspective to our team and our patients. Carol is a retired nurse who spent her career working in various areas of Amherst hospital. She has 3 children and 2 granddaughters. She moved to Halifax in 2013 and became involved as a volunteer team nurse for a group of wheelchair athletes, as her youngest daughter is on the team. She met Dr. Andrew in 2015 when she and her daughter came as patients.
She says: “I liked Dr. Wanda Lee’s and Dr. Andrew’s values and how well their patients were treated so when I was asked if I would be interested in being a part of their team, I was in. I enjoy coming to work and meeting new people and helping in a small way on their road to better chiropractic health. It is the same rewarding feeling you get as a nurse when you see the difference a few visits to SMBCC can make , not and the whole team is a great group of caring people so it is a pleasure to work with them.” Carol is a kind and caring soul that has your best interests at heart!
Wendy MacDougall – Director of Fun
The newest addition to our team in late fall 2017, Wendy is a recent transplant from Ontario and has traded in the world of real estate for our wonderful life in the bay and caring for our community.
